Soyuz Warranty Policy

Valid for sticks purchased directly from the Soyuz website only
(not applicable for purchases from local retailers)

At Soyuz, we’re hockey players first. We know how much a broken stick can hurt – not just your game, but your wallet too. That’s why we keep our warranty simple, fair, and honest.

Every Soyuz hockey stick comes with a one‑time, full replacement warranty for 30 days from the date of purchase (or the day you receive it).
No fine print. No tiered credits. No “pro stock” exceptions.

If your stick breaks during normal use within the first 30 days, we’ll replace it. Once.


What counts as a “break” (we’ve got your back)

  • complete break in the shaft or the blade.

  • partial break or crack that makes the stick unusable (even if it’s still in one piece).

What doesn’t count (we’re honest with you)

  • Surface marks, scuffs, or paint chips.

  • Cosmetic scratches that don’t go through the carbon fiber.

  • A blade that feels “soft” or “spongy” but still holds its shape.

  • A stick that has become whippy or lost its pop over time.

  • A small chip in the shaft or blade.

  • Normal wear and tear from playing.

We’re not trying to find loopholes – we just want to be clear so nobody gets disappointed.


How to file a claim (it’s easy, we promise)

You have 30 days from purchase (or receipt) to send us proof of the break. After that, we unfortunately can’t help – so please don’t wait.

What we need from you (photos only – no need to ship the broken stick unless we ask):

  1. Two clear photos of the broken area (show us the damage).

  2. One photo of the stick’s information label (e.g., “P92 75 Flex” or similar).

  3. One photo of the print code, serial number, or URL on the back of the shaft (if applicable).

  4. If the shaft is broken, please include both pieces in the photo – it helps us see what happened.

Submit everything through our online warranty portal. We’ll get back to you as fast as we can.


What you’ll get

  • A replacement stick – same model, same specs, if available.

  • If the exact model is out of stock, we’ll give you a full‑value Soyuz gift card (so you can grab another stick you love).

A small note on shipping:
We charge a $20 replacement shipping fee to cover handling and postage.
If you can pick up your replacement at a local Soyuz pickup location, that fee is waived – just choose “local pickup” when you file your claim.

This is a one‑time warranty. The replacement stick does not come with another warranty. We wish we could offer lifetime coverage, but this is how we keep prices fair for everyone.


Returns & exchanges (for unbroken sticks)

New, unused sticks

  • You have 30 days from purchase (or receipt) to return or exchange a stick that is unused, untaped, uncut, and in its original packaging with labels attached.

  • Return for a refund: a flat $20 return fee applies.

  • Return for store credit (Soyuz gift card): no return fee – we waive it as a courtesy.

Used sticks

Once a stick has been used, taped, cut, or altered in any way, it can no longer be returned or exchanged (unless it breaks under the warranty above – that’s a different story).

For online orders: you’ll need to ship the stick back to us (at your cost). After we verify it’s unused, we’ll process your refund or exchange.


Damaged in transit? We’ll help.

Sometimes couriers are a little too rough. If your package arrives looking damaged:

  1. Contact us within 24 hours of receiving it.

  2. Send us these photos:

    • The outer packaging

    • The broken or damaged product (close‑up)

    • The whole product

    • The shipping label on the package

We’ll work with you to make it right – because that’s not your fault, and it’s not ours either, but we’ll still take care of you.

Upon approval of your return request, we will provide you with:
A pre-paid return shipping label
Comprehensive instructions regarding the shipping location and process
Important Note: Items returned without prior submission of a return request will not be accepted or processed.
